I’m Connie Herbert, a photographic artist based in Burley, Idaho. As a passionate photographer, I’ve dedicated the later years of my life to capturing the world’s beauty through my lens. Inspired by my grandmother’s love for photography and my parents’ appreciation of art,  I’ve evolved from a hobbyist to an artist, sharing stories and emotions through my images. While realistic nature photography is my primary focus, I also enjoy exploring the human element in my “Hands of Life” series, and artistic interpretations of nature and the world around me and creating photo encaustic work. 

I’m drawn to the unique details and hidden beauty in the world around me, always seeking that special something that sparks my creativity and compels me to capture it through my lens. Photography has heightened my awareness of the world around me, constantly searching for the potential subjects of my next shot.

My goal is to tell the stories I witness in nature through my images. I strive to create photographs that make people catch their breath and look closer, discovering new details with each glance.
